I don't understand why he said "remember me?" in that trailer.

watching it again...that's a really weird trailer.  The voices are all super low in the mix and not synced with the action on screen...

Hmm, well I don't think I will give Wii speak a shot by spending $$ to buy the addon.
But I might give MH3 a shot since the online is free and I've never really played MH much.  Still would rather get into it on PC/PS3/X360 where I could play online with friends & headsets but dunno if they will ever get a real one with free online.

I just got an extra one with endless ocean.  If you or anyone else is interested I would like someone to take this off my hands.

from ign, an excerpt of about 8 paragraphs on a cinematic

Quote
"I awoke to the familiar voice of a quarantine officer," Samus says via inner-monologue. "A dream. I had been reliving the tragic moments of my recent past. Thanks to the hyper beam, which was given to me somehow by the baby, I laid rest to Mother Brain." Of course, the explosion also took down the station, as well as everything nearby.

Other M begins at this point. The geek tells Samus to walk through a door so that training can begin. In the room, she cinematically triggers her Varia Suit -- it simply appears over her Zero Suit as energy envelops her body and it looks ]fantastic, of course. Now you're ready to play.

I guess sakomoto has some affinity for the metroid canon.  Which is distinguished mentally-challenged.  Last time they did this we got super mario sunshine.  And I daresay its ruined the zelda franchise.

Can't wait for Other M. :hyper

Also, SMG2 will probably be the best most disappointing game ever.

The dialogue and thematics of Other M look horrible. Why is Nintendo so motivated to ruin the style that the original games and Metroid Prime established?

It''s a b-c tier franchise.

Franchises nintendo cares about:
Mario
Pokemon
Wii _____

How did affinity for canon ruin Zelda?

If anything, the total disregard for continuity has made the franchise suck. They could have ended Twilight Princess by having the world get flooded, which would tie right into Wind Waker, but they didn't. None of the games feel like they are part of the same historical timeline.

Who said anything about text/Prime?  I like Super Metroid, Metroid Zero, and Fusion.

I'll play this, but it's fucked until proven not fucked.  DOA-style Samus = lol. On the other hand, this seems like Nintendo's first stab at a fully voice acted, story heavy game, so it'll be interesting.

The story should be great. Team Ninja and Nintendo usually make games with great storylines.
