Anyone else had this happen to them before? I guess this is what I get for packing a 5+ bedroom home virtually by myself. The joys of my misery.

I had a navel hernia, the surgery wasn't too bad and the recovery was short. Not a lot of pain, but somehow I had the hospital's chief surgeon on my case and they gave me some neeeeeat painkillers, so it was kind of the best possible bad situation. Good luck with it; things should be fine unless you're with Kaiser.

My friend had the same thing. Stopped him from lifting weights for months but apart from that he was back to normal pretty much immediately. Better to get the surgery as soon as possible rather than risk it getting worse.
