My favorite Miike film is probably Gozu. I don't like gross stuff so Ichi the Killer is only good for one watch, I think.

I don't know what this has to do with anything, but regardless, I don't think Ichi is a gross out film at all. The gore in that film is so over the top, and the special effects are so bad that I thought it was more comical than anything. Great movie anyway.
