I always (well, since 2004) thought the gun twirling was to show how vain and naive young Ocelot was.  He'd be all flashy until Snake kicked his face out of his ass and gave him a lesson about being a real soldier.

i always thought it was Ocelot trying to impress Snake. since earlier in the game Snake pretty much embarrasses him in front of his entire crew he wanted to prove that he really is "pretty good". thus all the twirling and shit. plus yeah. he's vain and naive.

"Game Sharing" is being curtailed. Sony is hoping people will become accustomed to paying for stuff. Weird, huh?

I'm just glad I'll be able to remotely deactivate PS3. All my shares are used up, 3 by non-functioning or not-connected PS3s.

The new restrictions are also not retroactive, meaning Beezy doesn't have to deactivate my account, and can keep the shared games for as long as he likes, while I gain the two new activations.

I haven't touched the PS3 in over a month. :lol

I did beat most of the games you shared though. Going for all the trophies seemed like work. :zzz

Halo’s unique and extraordinary features raise serious questions..... Can Halo be used for enlightenment-oriented thinking in the Buddhist sense? Does Halo's weapon limitation actually contribute to the depth of the gameplay? When we willingly play Halo only to die again and again, are we engaging in some sort of self-injurious behavior? What is expansive gameplay and how can it be informed by the philosophy of Michel Foucault? In what way does Halo’s post-apocalyptic paradigm force gamers to see themselves as agents of divine deliverance?

That's the N-GAGE version wikipedia page, I heard the version is crap. Not sure what's so bad about XP chaining though.

The wiki article is badly written.  System is better explained here:

http://au.wireless.gamespy.com/n-gage/xanadu/664591p1.html

Quote
The combat system has a good feel and there's a cool feature, which gives you a 1% experience boost if you take out all the enemies in that area. The bonus increases 1% with each subsequent area cleared without going back to town, so this drove me to play my best and make the most out of each trip out.

Long-term chaining is bad in any game, but there's no way of knowing how bad until I get a sense of the pace of the game and stuff, so I should probably shut my mouth.  Now it's got me morbidly curious.
Hilarious system for a handheld game though.
