I don't know if DmC will be a good DMC game (it probably won't) but I have a good feeling about it. Though, I feel like Ninja Theory should go make a movie or something. They are good at telling stories in games, and their art direction is often times very beautiful.

I got a Saturn at launch with all six games. It blew all my bar mitzah gift money on it.

Needless to say, with nothing else to play, I got real good at Daytona USA & Virtua Fighter 1. It's probably why I'm still pretty legit at VF today.

Still, after modding the system early on with a US/JP switch I got a lot of great use out of the old guy. The Marvel vs. games and Street Fighter Alpha games were the best home fighters until the Dreamcast hit.

I honestly don't remember the Saturn being a thing when it launched. Everyone had an N64 or PS1 (skewed towards N64, cuz we were young). One of my friends who was a big Sega fan didn't go for it, and he had a Nomad.

I didn't get it at launch. Think I got it around Christmas. I had Mario 64 before the system because the stores were all sold out. But my parents secretly bought one and hid it.

how old were you? i was a pre-teen and in 97 everyone started getting playstations, and by that point, saturn was dead in america.

I don't know if any of you guys remember Monday Night Combat, but the sequel came out a few months ago and it was a pretty big disappointment IMO. The original MNC was TF2 with a hint of DotA, whereas Super MNC was DotA with a hint of TF2.

Anyway, the latest patch added a new game mode that is essentially the old version of the game except with grinding to unlock characters and stat boosts. It's free and pretty fun.

Just got off the phone with a research company that was interested in participants for a study with Namco Bandai. Specifically they wanted people that had Vita's and were heavily into fighting games. My best bet is it has something to do with Soul Calibur on Vita. Which would be awesome! I'll be playing next weekend and they asked me to bring my own vita.
