by the way,it's not like i would refuse to play a game just because it's indie,there is a lot of indie game i like too like desktop dungeons and spelunky,but that's the general idea i have of indie gaming and announcement like the one above just make this idea stronger and stronger,heck remember this?

PB Winterbottom is a good game.

Which is magoos entire problem. Instead of playing the games and discussing whether they're fun or good, he obsesses over some generalized idea of them.

You should pirate Noitu Love 2 if you want a good indie game, magus. It's not really amazing, but it is one of the best indie games I've played.

There are some great doujin games too.

Fly'n looks cool, reminds me a LOT of Botanicula. I didn't really like vvvvvv or World of Goo at all, and Super Meat Boy really wore on me. I'm not nuts about "quicksave design" in platformers.

A question for Japan residents on The Bore: is Mother 3 really hard to find over there? I know it's out of print and a rather old game now, but I really want an actual cart so I can play it in a handheld. I can't help but wonder if there are still copies of it floating around second-hand stores that might be cheaper to procure than paying the inflated rates on eBay.

I admit this is a rather inane request, but I lose nothing by asking. Thanks anyways.

they are both okay games that gets hyped to high and beyond because nfags are distinguished mentally-challenged

earthbound in particular never clicked with me,i mean there is nothing really wrong about it but it's hard for me to not see it as anything else than a dragon quest clone that try to desperately try to distinguish itself with whimsy™ and the whimsy itself feels rather weak "look! we made a beatles reference" meeeeeeeeeh

mother 3 is not earthbound 2 and i think that disappointed some. Personally I wish the game was longer, thats my only complaint. It had a story and it told it, it wasnt just some save the world from aliens adventure

but it was still great and very charming like the original. plus the music is impressive for gba, etc
