Bioshock Infinite has amazing art design.

The game itself kinda sucks, but it's so pretty. 

I stopped playing that game at the start of the Soldier's Field level (Da Bears!), and I've been meaning to go back to it but haven't found the time.

Yeah, it was definitely very pretty. The design is attractive, and the look of game is good, but there's not a lot of differentiation in any region, and insufficient landmarks, so I frequently found myself doubling back accidentally.

I don't know that I'll ever go back to finish it. I was super disappointed in the gameplay, compared to Bioshock 1 and System Shock 2.

Civ5 takes a pretty big time commitment to really get anything out of it, either you'll play it for 30 minutes or you'll play it for a million hours. Mafia 2 has a pretty fun campaign that lasts about 15 hours.

Edit: Also, Civ5 has a ton of DLC and Expansions. Mafia 2 has some, but none of it's really worth buying.

- The new KH3 trailer shows something like attractions, a train summon like the electrical parade? Also fighting the Rock titan.
 - Movements on screen are really dynamic. Just as beautiful as expected for the PS4.
 - I also noticed a scene where it looked like a Keyblade variation where Sora dual shooting 2 guns.
 - Sora's new attack! Disney attractions! In the new trailer, you see the pirate ship from Peter Pan, but it's lit up like in the Electrical Parade!
 - Fighting Heartless and the Rock Titan in Traverse Town. Sora is in front of the electrical parade attraction like boat, attacking. The Rock Titan line gradually appears in front of the electric parade coaster. It seems to attack by spinning around the Titan.
 - They already said that KH3 uses an exclusive tool called Kingdom Shader, but seeing it, it's really amazing! Sora's hair sways naturally, his expression is soft and realistic, his caricature is portrayed beautifully. I want this trailer to be released immediately!
 - On the scene where Sora wields 2 guns, it seems that the guns are related to an attraction with the little green men. リトルグリーンメン is what the little green men in Toy Story are called officially in Japanese, so maybe we have Toy Story confirmed. Maybe.
 - It goes without saying that the action is great, but even flames appear really realistic! I can't wait to see what the magic will look like from here on out!
 - The special attraction attack used against Rock Titan is the Electric Parade like roller coaster you can ride! It looks a lot like the Big Thunder Mountain attraction from Disneyland. Donald and Goofy are secured by the safety bar, lol.
 - Also, there was a scene where the Keyblade transformed into 2 guns.

Well I've hit endgame in Final Fantasy 14 and yep I think I'm done. I can never do endgame in mmos. This where they really start to become a real grind, a job.

I enjoy the ride to level cap. As you explore the world, take part in the story, and aren't held back by things like equipment and very serious players. I hate endgame.

DOA5 Ultimate got patched to v1.03.  Among other things, they brought back the castle stage from DOA3 with a Halloween theme.  So that means overpriced Halloween outfits!

Longtime FFXI player here   I've always found the endgame community as a whole to be demanding, but not unreasonably so.  If you want to waltz into things without knowing your head from your ass and be warmly welcomed, that's not going to happen.  If you come equipped with a modicum of knowledge about what role your job plays in a group and how to exploit it, as well as some cursory knowledge about what you're going to be fighting, you won't have any problems.

I find that a lot of the time when someone cries elitism, there's one of two situations happening. 
1. Big fish small pond scenario where the person making unreasonable demands is awful and doesn't understand the content or what is actually needed, but this person is the one running the group, so it gives folks a bad experience.
2. The person crying elitism is awful and doesn't understand or attempt to understand the content or what is actually needed, instead, demands instant gratification, the content tourist.

I find scenario 2 to be more common.

In fact, that is why he quit after 2 years. He said the playerbase was elitist and autistic. That's only his side of the story, but I've been playing MMOs long enough to know that what he experienced is much closer to the truth than that little pat in the back you gave yourself there. I've been playing since 2008, so by the time I got to endgame, it was already significantly different, accessibility wise, and content wise than it was during the time period in which that likely took place, but based on my experience having been in a variety of groups, both before and after significant changes to the game, with different management styles and levels of commitment, it sounds like your friend ran into a group that was run like a pyramid scheme (typical for the time period) and the self-appointed king of the scrubs was giving everything to his friends, who all thought they were hot shit (drama ensues).  It's hard to get anything positive out of a group like that.

Let's stop being condescending.  There's a lot of folks out there just interested in playing MMO's for "story" or the social aspect who have no interest in the actual game mechanics.  Endgame content by and large requires more than a cursory understanding of game mechanics to succeed, and if that's not your thing, that's totally fine, but don't collectively knock everyone who does care, and subsequently looks for other people who care, when attempting that content.

According to a report by FF-Reunion, the committee will be headed by Yoshinori Kitase, Hajime Tabata, Naoki Yoshida and Motomu Toriyama. Details remain sparse, but their meetings will take place to ensure the quality of the FF series going forward. Long time series character designer and now director of Final Fantasy XV Tetsuya Nomura, however, appears to be separate from this initiative as his priorities lie within another timeline.

Take a dev house best known for real-time strategy games, and task them with making a first-person survival horror game. How hard can it be?

Gundam Seed Destiny Fed Vs Zaft 2 Plus, Blood + Midnight Kiss, the Sega Macross game, Front Mission 5, the Beserk PS2 game, and Namco X Capcom. Just some good crap.

Man I really would like to own some of these games. I mean lets say I went to Japan one of these days and spent at least one day going through the used game shops. Would some of these PS2 games like jrpgs and anime games by pretty cheap used?
