I watched the game in the Whistler town square, packed with thousands of people. The energy was simply indescribable. I don't think it's possible that any other event or moment can match that energy and emotion. Maybe if a soccer-crazy country won the World Cup on home soil, but that's about it.

I was at school streaming the game when I should have been studying. Getting home through downtown Toronto was fun with all the partyers. All in all that was a damn fine hockey game and a great tournament. Ryan Miller turned me into a believer. The states is going to have a beast of a team in 2014.
