I've decided not to support the Dodgers as long as Frank McCourt is the owner. Haven't decided whether to just become an impartial observer of the league or to pick another team to mildly support. Leaning towards the former.

I am quite interested to see if Kemp, Ethier and Kershaw can continue their development. I'd love to see Kemp break out into a full-fledged superstar. Damn I love those guys.

Braves are gonna be really good this year... and fade down the stretch. Too many "if this happens we'll be good" qualifiers on this team. Just can't spend enough, unfortunately.

Remember when their GM traded for Randy Wolf at midseason (when they were out of it) because he felt like it gave them a better chance to sign him in the off-season? (He signed for the Dodgers instead)

That's one of my favorite trades of all time.

Just a reminder (I'll be doing this about once a week) to everyone who signed up for the fantasy leagues: H2H league drafts Sunday March 21st and the roto league drafts a week earlier on Sunday March 14th. I would do it in a heartbeat... if we get enough of the league to agree to it. Problem is, I can pretty much guarantee that even after all of my dire threats, 1/4 to 1/3 of the league won't show up to the draft so that would reallllllly screw those knuckleheads over.

But at least one of their minor league teams, the Jupiter Hammerheads, is near where I live, so it'll be fun to watch that when the Marlins can't buy a win in the summer...

Pollo- while I would be all for an auction league, you gotta convince the rest of the league on it. Another option would be to start another league where we know from the beginning we'll do an auction instead of a draft.
