I dislike Dodgers Stadium. I doubt I'd go to another home game in awhile.

If I go to a ballgame in the Los Angeles area, it's going to be at Angels Stadium. Or I'll go north and hit up the Bay Area.

... and yeah, there are always fans of away teams in D.C. The metropolitan area is very transient because of government work and government contractors. I even saw a few Brewers fans at the stadium tonight.

I also dig the new Nats' nickname for the Philles: the Broadway Barfers.

Apparently from everything I've heard the real centerpiece of the deal was the pitching prospect we got, who is apparently a year or two away from being a starter and is very, very good.

Of course, he was a Yankee prospect so that means that he's probably the second coming of Charlie Liebrandt or something. Fucking worse overhyped prospects in all of sports...

The Nats are above .500 for the first time in like three years!

Yes they forced a game 7. And if Dusty started Woody instead if that worthless idiot Livan Hernandez the Giants would've won game 7.

All 4 of the Angels runs in game 7 were given up by Livan. When Dusty brought in Woody to relieve him, no runs were earned. That's why Dusty got the boot to the Cubs.

Pictures from my day at the ballpark. First, I made sure to get there early so I could chill out at the Scorebood Walk bar. Beers are half off until the first pitch, and it has this laid back era with sofas and chairs where you can listen to crappy bands.

These were my seats for the game today. Five bucks.

... I spent less than $20 for a ticket, a beer, a slice of pizza and a bottle of water.

(I spent more than that afterwards, though.)

Nationals improve to 8-7, and Marquis has been placed on the DL. I wonder if the club will call up J.D. Martin to replace him in the rotation; they don't have the guts to page Strasburg out of financial considerations.

I'm heading to the ballpark tomorrow to see April's best pitchers, Livan Hernandez and Ubaldo Jimenez, duel. I'd like for the Nats to take the series, but it looks like Zimmerman aggravated his hamstring again. And with Dunn in a slump, that lineup lacks a lot of punch without Zim.
