XBLA local co-op for the bros
« on: March 02, 2010, 04:01:58 PM »
have I made this thread before? I cant remember.

Anyway I have a very special date with a bro soon, hes coming to my place for some XBEAST 360.

I was thinking about grabbing an XBLA game that we can blast through together locally.

I already have Splosion Man, Castle Crashers and Streets of Rage 2. I tried Schizoid but it suffered from the small technical discrepancy of "not being any good".

Suggestions? I was thinking maybe TMNT '89?

It's the prefect game for an achievement whore like you. I don't know how many days I wasted trying to do all of those shooting gallery challenges.

I hate local co-op gaming. Everyone I know sucks shit and bogs me down. I still cant get the last achievment I need in Break Steady because everyone here is dilapidated potheads with no sense of timing.

That said, I can't answer your question. I'm grumpy right now.

yeah that must suck demi. Luckily I had a friend that was pretty good at platforming to beat Splosion Man with me local. Hes in Buenos Aries atm  :(

Sounds like I should just wait for PD, then. I figure heaps of you guys are getting it too so we could probably get some sweet games going online

I like "Buenos Aries" - :teehee

Gastronaut's Small Arms is like Smash Bros with guns, and Aegis Wing was free to US accounts. It's an OK shooter with an interesting Voltron mechanic.

Yeah, why does it have to be only XBLA? Get Earth Defense Force 2017 and go crazy.

BROderlands is pretty awesome. Has split screen. Not XBLA but pretty high up on the bro-o-meter.

yeah already played BROderlands with the bro in question. We both beat the game so we'll play thru the DLC once the retial disc comes out.

Beezy: EDF2017 sounds like a good option too, Ive heard the game is super fun.

Just hope you REALLY like EDF because it requires 5 plays and you still have to farm all the weapons.
