Emphasis on owned, not just random games you picked up and rented or downloaded, but stuff you actually spent money on only to discover that you had just bought a piece of crap.

1.
Beyond the Beyond: The definition of "shit game." Unfun battles, uninteresting story, ridiculously high encounter rate. I can't believe they chose to translate this over the original Arc the Lad just 'cause it was 3D. Fucking Bernie Stolar. It's incomprehensible to me that this game was made by the same folks behind the Shining Force series.

2.
The Granstream Saga: Pretty sure I bought this game when there was an RPG drought on the PSX. What a crap game. Character models had no faces so it looked like you were talking to fucking mannequins. You had a stupid talking parrot thing for a sidekick. About the only thing that made this notable is that it's the first video game I ever played that had nudity (animated FMV cut scene of some chick's ass). Played about three hours and never touched it again. I think it's one of the few games I've ever traded in (I like to collect shit so I very rarely get rid of games).

3.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Still has one of the best cover arts for a TMNT game ever, IMO. Unfortunately, the game itself is crap. Shitty platforming sections, lame enemies...the arcade games shit all over this.

4.
Jaws: Another game I bought as an impressionable youngster because the cover art was awesome. Unfortunately the bulk of the game is spent shooting manta rays and collecting seashells from the ocean floor. Along with TMNT, they were two of my first NES games. It's a miracle I wasn't turned off on gaming forever.

5.
SaGa Frontier: It's weird to put this one on my list since I'm actually a big fan of SaGa Frontier 2. But the first one is terrible, disjointed, disconnected, incomprehensible, and, the biggest sin of all - BORING. The battle system is crap because the way you gain skills and increase your stats seems completely randomized (as I remember), the way your character interacts with the CG backgrounds makes everything look incredibly fake, the game world seems like they took a bunch of random CGs from fantasy, horror, and contemporary settings and just pasted them all together, etc., etc., etc.
