It started getting really annoying with them when new games would come out for $49.90 instead of $50.00.     So then you try and find the lowest-priced piece of junk they have in their inventory and hope to get a few bucks off.

Play Asia sucks now that they don't offer free shipping to Japan.  $40 for Strange Journey?  Bloody hell, I might as well just use Ebay now, shipping would probably be faster anyway.

Yeah, the other day I loaded up a cart and just before committing the ORDER button, I noticed the total was about 1200 yen higher than it should be. me = WAT?! I went back and noticed there's shipping fees on everything now. 

When did that change?

Sometime in February, I think.  Fortunately I preordered Bad Company 2 before it took effect so I didn't have to pay shipping for it, but I haven't ordered anything since.  HMV is really good for buying Asian region games online, but for American games PA is still one of the few reliable options except ordering off of Ebay.  I guess you could buy import games from the Yahoo Japan private stores, but they're pretty expensive, even more than Aki.  I think one of them wanted like 6000yen for Strange Journey!

I still have to find that damn game.  Maybe I'll just suck it up and order from PA.
