Up to Chapter 3:
Stuff I hate
- Having to run ALL the way back through a dungeon when you clear the mission. Really? I aint using an Escape Hex either.
Use hero action to run to the other side. Or use escape hex. You get plenty of them.
- Having to juggle around weapons just to level up. What is the benefit of doing this? Why would it matter if I had Vash use a Machine Gun instead of just capping fools with his pistol? You could argue, Vash can carry heavier items thus have a much more customised MG. I argue - what's the difference? I still cant get Leanne to even equip a grenade even. She either has to go Grenade only, or nothing at all.
The benefit is higher HP/higher weight limit. Also means that in a pinch everyone is good at everything and you can swap things around.
- The fact that the game tells you SHIT. I fucking had to restart the game because I got in a fight without doing the Arena fight and I was getting frustrated that I couldnt do shit! Then I was like... oh... Hero Actions
Yeah, the biggest problem with the game. You gotta do the tutorial, read the manual, and ask lots of questions online.
- Level 4 enemies anally violating you even though you are Level 10. Right...

- the only times you should have tough fights is when you fight level 40 dudes when you are lvl.10 in the danger hexes or bosses.
- Having to pay money to restart. Having to GO BROKE if you want to restart with Hero Gauge refilled. FF13 innovates yet again. TriAce stumbles yet again.
Die less. I've restarted because of dying maybe 2-3 times and I'm at ch.6. I've restarted about 5 times because I get a bad start and just want to restart. It's reaaaaally easy to get money in this game so it shouldn't be a problem if you keep 20k around for restarts. Don't EVER restart with hero gauge filled. Seriously, that's just a waste of money. Back up and refill your gauge if you need that. I've never had to do that and never will. It's good that it costs money because it makes the battles count.
You should start messing around with tri-attacks. They are key for a lot of stuff because you can scratch & turn it into damage & stun/break enemies all using a single hero action. You can literally kill most bosses in 1 turn by circling them with a hero action.
