[Zero-Raws] Black Lagoon - Robertas Blood Trail - 02 (BD 1920x1080 x264 AAC).mp4
that panty & stocking anime would have been a very cool capcom gameas a 10 minute anime i guess it's cool too
Mr.Gundam and Bebpo would like SRW OG. It's filled with robot fightin and explosions, nice music too. I strangely prefer the CG explosions over the 2D ones.
The high heels + the hand on the hip gives the impression that that robot is saying something like "Ho, you better step on back from my man!"

I watched this season's "Queen's Blade," Samurai Girls. It has a pretty cool art style, with all the backdrops having a painted look to them. Basically this is yet another "let's take historical figures and turn them into moe girls" anime, following Ikkitousen and Koihime Musou. But instead of using Chinese warriors, this one goes with Japanese Sengoku era figures like Sanada Yukimura and Hattori Hanzo. The latter has been turned into a somewhat ditzy MAID NINJA who is forced go down on her female master...uh, yeah. But amazingly, what sets this apart from the rest is that the main character IS A MALE. And he's cool. And he can fight better than the girls can. And he has a personality. And he doesn't get all stupid when there's moe-moe-harem crap happening. I wonder how long that will last. Anyway it turns out he too is related to a pretty famous historical figure, whose female incarnation shows up at the very end.So I guess I would put this as being closer to Ikkitousen, meaning it has ecchi everywhere but that is not the entire focus of the show. I was also really surprised that the show was focusing on a guy-- you'd never know he was even in the show if you've ever seen any promotional art for this. Guess next up is Star Driver.
my little sister cant be this cute spoiler (click to show/hide)is really cute and amusingalso I could see people finding this show kinda creepyanyway I like it /no pedo[close]
K-on!! 26 was really good! It had lots of great comedy and a strong finish to the series.(Image removed from quote.)I'm gonna miss this show :'(

It's definitely amusing so far. The sub group missed that the historical figure whose name the main guy was scribbling out in class had the kanji for "sister" in his name though.I LOVE how there's a family conversation with the main guy saying he wants to watch some anime and his parents are like "that's what those otaku watch, isn't it? Don't go polluting your mind with that filth."
Star Driver was darn good. Awesome Nakamura block breaking animation during the fight scene.Story is generic Bones robo show, but the production is that excellent kind of art/animation/music/directing that no one else besides Bones can do anymore. They're the only studio channeling the quality of 90s top-tier anime. Which makes sense since Bones = the people who made all the top tier shows in the 90s at Sunrise.
I'll pick it up eventually during a sale. But I already paid like $7 an ep off PSN when it aired (so like $150?) so I'm not in the mood to spend more cash on it atm.
Yeah, every year I become less hardcore of anime fan. My current self would slap my 2 years ago self for spending that much renting episodes. And for the same reason I am refusing to spend $47 on Unicorn ep2. $60 MSRP is ridiculous for an OAV ep. It's one thing for a classic feature film like Honneamise or Jin-Roh, but for an ep that (if it's anything like ep1) has pretty crap TV animation outside the mecha action...no way. First Gundam I'm not gonna buy. I may have to turn in my Gundam badge.
Although I should warn that if you make it through S1, S2 stops being a story of a band and becomes a slice of life comedy about nothing outside a few poignant parts.

I saw all of Season 1 in about a week. I have been stuck on episode 6 of Season 2 for over a month.
Fun little series, but Azumanga Daioh is still the reigning champ of this slice-of-life stuff.
I finished K-On! and it felt like nothing but slice-of-life stuff, with the band parts only being a minor part of it. It was mostly のんびり if I can get all weeaboo for a second, to the point that the few serious parts didn't fit in well. Also what the hell was up with them having multiple beach and Xmas episodes? It's like they ran out of episode ideas fast. Fun little series, but Azumanga Daioh is still the reigning champ of this slice-of-life stuff. Will watch K-On!! next, but may wait since the wife is now interested in it too, but she only watched the first two eps.
