I dunno, 08th has that distinguished mentally-challenged circle blob mobile armor and the villain kind of sucks.

But otherwise the main characters are cool bros and the romance isn't half bad. It's definitely a good Gundam for sure.

B studio is their real studio that makes the ridiculous animation awesome action original epics.

Basically the big hitters. They're not always great (Xam'd plot was a horrible disaster that made no sense) but they're awesome to watch. This is what they've been making since Xam'd finished. So it should be rad. It will have mechs and people and action and stuff. It was originally being directed by the guy who did Gundam 08th team until he died last November. Now it's being finished by some other Bones regular who was the guy under him. The character designers are by the Cowboy Bebop, Gundam 08th, Wolfs Rain guy. The visual effects director is Nakamura who is the guy who animates all the crazy 10 seconds of "better than movie" animation in the best Bones eps/movies. He did the final fight in Stranger for example and Soul Eater ep1 action. This seems to indicate he will have a constant involvement in the show so the animation should be TOP NOTCH. At best this should be similar to the animation quality of the first half of E7 or Xam'd and hopefully the plot will make sense.

Hana-saku Iroha is by the director of Sword of the Stranger who then did Canaan (which sucked). I guess like Miura (berserk writer) he only made BADASS MALE ACTION in order to break into the industry so he can pursue his deep desire to do loli moe girl shows

It has nice character designs though so if it's good I'll probably still watch it in hopes it's as well directed as Stranger.

MAZINKAISER SKL

It's like Fist of the North Star x Mazinkaiser. Super violent and relentless in a good way, the story is basically an RTS, and BADASS ROBOT FIGHTS AND CHICKS EVERYWHERE. The only thing that keeps you from thinking you are watching an OAV from the late 80s/early 90s is the lack of nudity, which doesn't really make any sense since it's an OAV and the whole point is to capture that pulp trashy feel of the old school anime. But even without the nudity, it's still screaaaaams badass. Don't expect fancy animation because it's an OAV, animation is about the same as a TV show but that doesn't matter since it's got the MAZINKAISER

So Jellyfish Princess ended. The ending was a bit rushed (should've been 2 eps) and doesn't necessarily close every thread, but it's not a bad ending; works enough to give a conclusion.

Overall I thought the show was well made. It didn't have much of a story, just a short one, but the characters were good and the art/animation was too. It was nice.

I ended up watching all of the Haruhi Suzumiya movie. It's good, really good. One of the best works of anime I've seen in...ages. Well-written, well-animated, well-acted, and the characters are the best they've ever been. This is coming from someone who enjoyed the first season of the TV show, I didn't think it was amazing and I'm certainly not obsessed with it, but I did enjoy it. The movie is far and away better. In every way.

ok, actually the ~~best~~ only good part of the Gundam 00 movie is the first scene after the opening credits. It is basically Saji watching a movie that exaggerates the events from Season 1; it's a fake gundam movie within a real gundam movie and it is forty billion times better than the rest of the real gundam movie.
