Those of us from rural south know how to handle toilet paper shortage. Eat more corn on the cob! The corn isn't important, but the cobs are free and work great! (Just don't flush them!) You're welcome!

The North American anime distributor Funimation filed a copyright infringement complaint against 1,337 "John Does" over the 481st episode of the One Piece television anime on Monday. According to the suit filed in the Northern District of Texas, the unidentified defendants "collectively participated, via the Internet, in the unlawful reproduction and distribution" of the episode "Ace Rescued! Whitebeard's Final Order!" via the BitTorrent file-sharing protocol. The suit lists defendants by their host IP (Internet Protocol) addresses and Internet service provider. The alleged incidents of copyright infringement took place between January 9 and January 12.The lawsuit identifies three of the sites where the defendants allegedly found the BitTorrent reference descriptor files for the One Piece episode. The suit also notes that users in a BitTorrent "swarm," by the inherent nature of the technology, are simultaneously downloading parts of the file and distributing parts of it to others. Funimation believes that the identities of the current 1,337 defendants and "additional infringing parties" will be revealed during the pre-trial discovery phase of the lawsuit, and it will then amend the suit to include their names.Funimation asks the court to stop the defendants from infringing on Funimation's copyrights for this episode and any other videos now or in the future. If another request in the suit is granted, defendants "shall destroy all copies of Plaintiff's [videos] that Defendant has downloaded onto any computer hard drive or server without Plaintiff's authorization and shall destroy all copies of those downloaded [videos] transferred onto any physical medium or device in each Defendant's possession, custody, or control." Funimation also seeks compensation for damages and legal costs.ANN is awaiting Funimation's response to a request for comment.
Hmmmmm, this could be the end of all fansubs.
FORTY US DOLLARS
Are they available via stream
The tone is really different from past shinbo stuff.
I wonder if animu sounds as horrid in japanese to those that can understand it, or the english dubbers are just shitting it up for the fun of it.

Finally decided to pull out my Darker than Black season 1 box set that I've had since last summer now that I'm trapped in my own house because of Snowpocalypse 2011. I'm up to episode 15 so far and I really like this show. It's not the best thing ever, but it's just the sort of anime like there ought to be more of. Action, a touch of lightheartedness with a lot of seriousness, a scifi story that doesn't cram too much explanation into too little time, and pretty much none of the sort of things that make me irritated when I watch modern anime. Darker than Black sort of feels like a mesh of Cowboy Bebop and Witch Hunter Robin, maybe a little Batman as well [ Chinese Electric Batman ], which is a combination that can't go wrong. I would say that, approximately halfway through the show, that it's not quite great, but it's definitely within arm's reach of great. Is season 2 going to come out on DVD sometime?
I watched Gunpla Builders: The Beginning and it was alright. It's a short 40 mins kids thing but it has a bunch of decently animated footage of all kinds of gundams fighting each other. Like Hi-Nu and Dendrodium and Astray vs. The O. Kind of cool. Better than the OO movie at least.

It's basically V Gundam x OO Quanta. It has all these magic shields and wings and 3 beam saber claw and throwing beam knives and RAISER BEAM SWORD and all kinds of crap. It's sort of awesome! lolol. I wouldn't mind them putting it in a GvG game or something.
