I freely admit that the movies are so horrible that parts of the mare funny, but really, its mainly just torture watching the actors try to deliver those horrible lines and such.

How's Anna Kendrick in New Moon?  She's not that hot but I find her enticing after watching Up in the Air.

lulz. I watched this last night.

It was about what I expected meaning I didn't like it and thought it was mainly boring but hey I don't like a lot of things.

The last quarter of the movie is just really bad and non-sensical.

But honestly I view this movie in the same way as I view Harry Potter. They are both targeted at a certain demo of preteen children. This one towards preteen girls and Potter towards pre-teen boys. It's like a 13 year old's fantasy in either case.

For what its worth I did get caught up in the relationship aspect despite how cloying it was. Fuck you Edward!

Just speaking on my personal opinion.

I find them to be boring and long and mostly tedious. The same as I find these Twilight movies. But like I said, I understand why a large swath of people like them. Even "adults" who are trying to tap back into their youth. Neither of them suit my individual tastes though.

Not speaking towards the books in either cases since I haven't read those.

at least kristen stewart is better at acting than harry potter

but that still doesn't excuse the shittiness that is twilight  :yuck

As an actual constructed movie and plot the first one was better than this one. This one is simply a love triangle hung around the barest shred of a story. If you love this universe and these main characters (which I don't) then I could see somebody liking the second more only in that regard.

As far as Harry Potter from seeing the movies, I've always been baffled by the appeal of that series outside of kids. I assume the books are better. The movies have improved as they've gone along (which still isn't the highest praise) but honestly I prefer just watching a rifftrax copy of the film rather than the actual film.

btw I should be honest and admit this is how I've watched both Twilight films.

Are we really going to have this argument? Seriously? Are we really going to say that Twilight has better acting than Harry Potter.

The most recent HP movie had in its cast:

-Michael Gambon
-Jim Broadbent
-Helena Bonham Carter
-Robbie Coltrane
-Alan "Hans" Rickman
-Maggie Smith
-Robbie Coltrane

The supporting cast of the Twilight series contains two 24 villains. Granted, one of them is Nina, but the other guy was the villain in the shitty Season Two subplot featuring daughter in distress Kim Bauer.

Oh, and if there is any doubt left, watch the Potter movies and the Twilight movies and compare. The three kids in the HP franchise (well, at least two of them) actually can fucking act, especially in the later films. I'm pretty sure that the cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer could outact the Twilight crew.

I was talking about Daniel Radcliffe. Not the cast of the Harry Potter franchise ( which includes some of the greatest british actors in modern times).

Kirsten Stewart and Daniel Radcliffe are about on par in acting for me. Everyone is A-fucking plus in the HP franchise, except for Daniel Radcliffe.   And I say this as a person who loves the HP franchise ( Hermoine to be exact).

My favorite part was the chase scene set to Thom York techno.
