Printer advice please

Hey if anybody is knowledgeable about printers could they help me out. My mother has recently been complaining to me about the cost of ink cartridges. I guess she prints a lot and is tired of buying expensive ink cartridges. She has some kind of Hewlett Packard printer I believe.

I noticed Kodak has some advertising where they say their ink is cheaper or something and I was going to mention this to my mom.

Does anybody know anything about Kodak printers or good printers in general. I personally just use whatever because I don't print that much so I don't know really know anything about printers and the cost of ink.

You can have them refilled at places like Office Max/Staples, I know that's what my parents do for their business. Dunno about prices though
