Apparently a lot of priests get into God because they have these urges to feel up young guys and think being a priest and devoting their lives to god and celibacy will curb their need to be gay pedos. However it's such an opportune position to be in if you're that way inclined it makes me wonder.

I wouldn't say that this is the majority of priests. The problem is that the priests who aren't pedo are all too willing to look away when this happens.

Theres apparently ~400000 catholic priests in the world, but 3000 accused priests in 9 years is still a pretty big number imo.
