"Reliable sources close to Nintendo have told CVG that Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption on Wii, and Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass on DS will not see light of day until Christmas 2007, which could mean anything from October to December."

Well, I'm sure glad I didn't succumb to buying a Wii now.

I think I'll just keep buying DS, PS2 and a few GC/Xbox games that I missed until Wii has a major title besides Zelda. I'll be buying the GC version of the soon.

Fuck both PS3 and Wii are on my shit list until they get a year to maybe get some GAMES I WANNA PLAY.

Like you say, the DS and PS2 have been STELLAR this year and the 360 isnt doing HORRIBLE. I just dont see why people early adopted two consoles with so little backing them.

I love how just about everyone hating on the Wii doesn't even have one. You tools sit here attempting to start fires while the rest of us are actually playing Wii games and enjoying them.

New games requiring additional development aren't exactly a bad thing, especially on a somewhat foreign development platform like the Wii. I'd rather wait until a product is actually completed to avoid the Ubisoft Wii Policy of 'Quantity Over Quality'. The same thing happened when the DS launched and the developers eventually found their groove. There are a handful of entertaining Wii games now, plus I've got the 360s 2nd gen AAA games to tide me over until the next wave of Wii games arrive: WarioWare, Wii Play, Mario Party 8, Sonic.. just a small sample of Wii's Q1 2007 gems.

It took two weeks to make the wiimote tech demos able to use the remote. What else would be challenging? I expected this system to get a lot of shovelware, it should but there's no excuse for why it isn't getting any for the next few months. Lack of interest?

Wii Play is nothing to look forward to. Its fun for about half an hour.

I read and watched countless things on the Revolution/Wii for over a year, and it was all null and void the moment I turned the machine on and played it for awhile. You should try the same before calling it a beta test. It's fun to play and doesn't crash. Wii

I played the Wii the other night at a friends house. His daughter (3) kicked my ass in baseball, hardcore. I played for about 3 hours. It wasn't my first time touching a Wii (lolz), but it was the longest and I had a lot of fun.

The only reason I'm hesitant with the Wii is 3rd party support and it's implementation in games.
