This episode was complete shit until the crack appeared.
It wasn't horrible, but it was definitely the weakest this season has been. Chibnall is usually a good writer too... for Torchwood at least. The only other Doctor Who episode he's written was Series 3's "42" which I thought was a good concept at least.
But OH MY GOD did the episode start to kick ass once the crack appeared.

Rory's death was exceptionally cruel. And emotional. Brilliantly done.
Well, we are finally getting towards the end of the season with the crack in time. So, what does everyone prefer? The RTD way of dropping hints about what the series finale is going to be about throughout the entire series or the Moffat way of reminding everyone about the cracks in time by building up the end episode through reminders and plot points? I'm liking the Moffat way but both are very good executions.

Wonder what that TARDIS piece means? Are they really going to blow up the TARDIS and make the Doctor earthbound like the Third Doctor was? Chameleon circuit fixed?
GOD, getting pumped for the finale.
