I still think 2007 goty is Galaxy by a huge lead. If Galaxy 2 is literally just Galaxy 1 but more, which it looks to be, then hell yeah. That said, Mass Effect 2 is up there with Galaxy as one of my favorite games in the past few years.

oh, I don't care about progression in the game industry or anything like that. I care about games I had the most fun with.

Looks like the first game but better all around. The graphics look good enough to make me forget I'm playing a Wii too.

Well Bayonetta was a great game, probably best in it's genre, but not really good enough for goty based on what metacritic says (which matters). I think pretty much all the likely contenders for goty in 2010 are sequels, ME2/SMG2/Halo:R/GoW3/SC2. It's a meaningless title anyways outside of what you personally think.

Realistically, a game would need to be pretty damn popular to win overall goty. I'm talking about sites, not your own particular tastes. Most people can't get into a hardcore, niche fighting game.

-why bring back the marble waggle minigame? If I really wanted to roll a marble around the maze, I'd play Kororinpa 1.
