taken in that light, the movie becomes even better

Argh, I downloaded the podcast and it's only 66 minutes. This happens all the time with Borecast downloads for me (them being cut short without anyone telling me) and I have to download them again and make sure that it matches with the time stamps Eel posts. Anyone else have this problem? It only happens on the borecast for me. :\ I don't download anything else from that host site though, so maybe my beef is with them...

Did someone say "contest"?!

With regards to the contest, are we limited to one submission only or can we submit several?

so the take there is that there was no girlfriend at all and he's just a drifter - that totally fits in, wow

Did someone say "contest"?!

With regards to the contest, are we limited to one submission only or can we submit several?

you can submit as many as you like, we'll just group them under your name

reading all of the entries on air when we record that episode, btw

that's happened to me before with other podcasts, i think it might have something to do with propagation, i might be posting it up on the message boards  too soon after i upload

God damn I hate sci-fi books. Can't we get some non-fiction up in this bitch?

Also, I saw frag's name on the cooking thread - could there be a potential segment about some food at a point? I could give up a fantastic recipe for stuffed sheep's head (eyes and everything). Sounds, and looks, revolting, but it's quite exquisite!

I read a lot of non-fiction but most of the stuff I read would jigglypuff the other two guys (and the listeners) so very, very fast.  :-\

And the space muslims in the book were comical in a very Evilbore-approved sort of way. I'll give the author one thing-he holds no punches in letting his own personal dim opinion of government and religion come through whenever he wants.

Frag, loved your Freespace 2 shoutout.  It's been awhile since anyone mentioned that game.

Did you play it with a joystick?  I wanted to get a good FF joystick for it back in the day but didn't have the money for it.

brobzoid - we have a long list of topics (also guests, do not think we have forgotten you) we hope to get to someday soon, and food is on that list, so hold on to that recipe

i can do some recs for non-fiction sometime, i've also got a weakness for bargain bin coffee table books and have picked up some neat stuff over the years

perfect dark fans may hate me after next episode, depending on whether or not they can relate to my point of view

also i have a shocking confession which isn't really shocking at all prepped for next ep

i want to play gow3, it's on my gamefly list if i can ever get off my ass and mail bioshock 2 back to them and then find a way to make time multiply or fuck itself and make lots of time babies

I have a Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro that I first played the game on that I still keep around when I want to replay Freespace 2. I have a full on HOTAS + pedals setup that I use for everything else nowadays but I can't seem to get "comfortable" with it and FS2.

So Detour, you familiar with the "his innocence is in his head" and that he's really an opportunistic killer traveling the land?

taken in that light, the movie becomes even better

so the take there is that there was no girlfriend at all and he's just a drifter - that totally fits in, wow

Eric P blew my mind when he told me that a few years ago.  "You mean, all the flashbacks are a lie? :o"

I felt so fucking distinguished mentally-challenged for not realizing it myself.  The movie becomes much more interesting when you realize the narrator is unreliable as fuck and is just making up this shit to try to avoid going to the electric chair.

Heavy Rain isn't that bad if you haven't let anyone overhype it. It definitely is one of those "museum" games. It has RE tank controls and QTEs make up 90% of the gameplay but there are multiple endings and the story isn't complete horse shit. I liked it, but it's definitely not GOTY quality or anything.

You might be like, woah whats that new thing on the forum

I decided to archive all the previous threads/episodes so people can relive them, or reference them. Show some luv.

I made it so nobody can post in it, but maybe it can be turned into the "official" borecast board. I prefer to just keep the current episode on this section then shuffle it when the new one is out.
