How is DS emulation these days? the last time I used an emu it was slow as hell but I don't really know if it was my shitty pc or the emulator.

Not in Fire Red, you get the Bicycle instead. Running Shoes arent introduced until Gold/Silver

don't they give you a run button in these games now? maybe not in the remakes.

I know about the bicycle but I figured that since this is a remake they would have introduce something basic like running, smh.

Last pokemon game I enjoyed was leaf green, then I realised I couldnt evolve my eevee into umbreon or my golbat into crobat until you beat the game and put it down.

I like them because as far as rpgs go, the story takes a backseat to the gameplay. Its all about customization and finding cool monsters to play with and then they turn into other monsters. I couldnt tell you the overarching plot because I never care about that stuff when I play games.

Ludicolo was one of the few cool ruby/sapphire pokemon.

Like magikarp was awesomely bad and then evolved into the awesome gyrados. In ruby/sapphire, feebas was stupid and evolved into the fugly milotic. God ruby/sapphire blew.

Ludicolo was like a pineapple/lilypad/mexican duck I'd say.
