yeah, I have weird nostalgia for old phones. Something about having to put effort into the phone call, both with dialing and talking. I used to have one of those in my kitchen and it was always hell balancing between the phone and the stove across the room. Nowadays my home phone has speaker phone and caller id and memory redial, and if I don't answer that, chances are they'd just try my mobile next. Things are getting a bit too convenient.
the cellphone in the OP seems fine. 9 out of 10 phones these days are a giant screen with one or more buttons, so it's at least interesting to see something different (for the wrong reasons). the actual phones and software seem aimed at social people and there wasn't one mention of spending hours playing Bookworm on it = pass.
