The first time I heard about it, it kind of scarred me. I'm all for people doing whatever they want, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else, but when I saw "modified" stuffed animals, I kinda puked up a little. But sometimes the furries will just go off on how weird the plushies are, and that just makes me shake my everlovin' head.
Another example would be gays and lesbians who speak ill of bisexuals. Or any of those groups who are against transsexuals. "Here's a clue: most of the PR efforts for equal rights reference 'LGBT' - most of the public perceives you as a unified group, so try it on for real."
