The West should have a ton of great series.

Once again, the East is top heavier than [female celebrity with big knockers and narrow hips].

No real rooting interest for me, so I'll just pull for every series to go to 7.

Lakers will probably blow out the Thunder in game 1 and then manage to lose game 2, go to OKC and have a bit of freak out, then eventually wrap it up in six games.

And then lose in the second round. :rock

Pretty easy. You don't get a free pass for choosing to follow a team only if they're winning because you live in the hometown. That's what separates the real fans from BANDWAGON fans.

I used to check boxscores/replays every night, but I only did that a couple times this season. Didn't watch any games on ESPN360 either.

I'll no doubt watch some playoff games when I can find them online but jeez, I'm just not into the product anymore. I hate to sound like "that guy" but dammit, NBA basketball is boring. I had a blast going to multiple college games this year, watching the conference tournaments and then watching one of the best and most unpredictable NCAA tournaments I've ever seen.

I've always been into basketball but I'm way more excited about the NFL season starting lol, and can't wait for draft day

I just love basketball enough to watch the NBA, but the college game AND the euro game are far more interesting to watch. The Thunder would be a fun team to watch these playoffs, but I know that due to their market and that Durant still has to earn more "rep" that they won't make it that far. Then I realize I am basing game outcomes on market share, business opportunities and officiating instead of talent comparisons, and I feel a little sick inside.

Sorry, Cleveland has to win a title. It's their first real chance in 30+ and might be their last for another 30 (until the city crumbles and all the franchises move away).

Let us have our one moment.

No, the Mavericks need a championship worse. 10 years in a row with 50+ wins, and nothing to show for it? That's not even fair. You what the only other two teams to get 10 50 win seasons in a row are? The 80's Lakers (5 Titles) and the 00's Spurs (3 Titles).

Eh, I don't really have a problem with people being Kobe fans.  Why shouldn't they?  He's one of the best players in basketball.  I just hate how people can claim to be fans of him but these same people bring a fury against people who are Cavs fans.  That's why I don't post in NBA threads anymore.

Reilo was the last straw.  He is, to be fair, a fuckwad.

Why shouldn't they?

Aside from the fact that Kobe is a fucking dick, he's simply nowhere as good as they think he is.  The majority of Lakers fans in LA truly believe that Kobe is the greatest player ever.  Yeah, he's good but objective analysis shows that he's clearly a tier below Jordan, Lebron and even several Lakers greats.  Kobe dullards will never believe that because they somehow think that stats are biased against him.  Predictably, Lakers fans will bring out the championship argument against Lebron but what happens to that logic when they're gushing over how great Jerry West was?

Also, Jerry West-led teams went to the Finals like nine times. Stick to medicine, dude.

I'd be down with the Cavs winning a title if it weren't for Lebron.  :yuck

People say Kobe is arrogant, but Bron takes it to a whole different level. With Kobe it's all about the game. Bron has stupid gimmicks like throwing powder into the air, and comments like wanting to be the first billionaire athlete, or "If I can't wear #23, no one should." Shit like that just makes me really want to see him go ringless.

I'd rather see fucking Carmelo Anthony lead his team to a title.
