I'm also a firm believer that pitbulls are not evil incarnate, and will not devour everyone's babies unless it is poorly trained. I think I mentioned this before, but my father and stepmother adopted an abused Jindo dog - widely considered to be one of the most aggressive dogs in the world, and were bred for fighting - and she is the most loyal and loving dog you'd ever meet.
She is territorial, and it's something they worked with her on, but not quite the vicious killer many thought she would be.
