Are you serious? You can jump? Did they GET Bionic Commando? Bionic Commando is unique because you CAN'T jump.

Still existed but still..way to ruin something that made the series unique to other platformers.

The jump seems to be totally useless as a platforming device; they probably only added it to give some leeway with spacing and ease the learning curve of the swinging mechanic.

Hopefully higher difficulties have no pussy jumping.

Oh, it does have that ground pound sort of function to it too. I dunno. Either way, it doesn't change much.

so, there is a 'Retro' mode where they remove the jump.

Initially I thought they would design the game around jump and grapple, but no, it's just like a separate assist.
