The Lions will draft Tebow or Willis McGahee because u dumb

Suh is the consensus number 1 pick.  This is fact.  Clausen isn't even the top rated qb- Bradford is and he's currently projected to go around number 5.  Once again, you don't know what you're talking about... but your team really should take a beefy and skilled O-lineman to protect Stafford.

If the Steelers actually trade Ben to the Raiders, I'll heat my hat.  Hell, I'll eat my hat if he's traded period.  The trade talk is simply scare-straight tactics to make Ben fear going to such an awful team.

How does actively pursuing trade talks with other GMs scare Big Ben ???

It'll be interesting to see what players are left on the Redskins roster after the dust settles. Campbell could be dealt, maybe to the Steelers if they trade Rapestberger. Haynesworth could be dealt to the Lions if they opt for Okung instead of Suh, then the Redskins could trade down to let another team take McCoy or Suh. Going to be interesting.

Are you serious?  A guy with that big an ego having to leave his post at one of the most recognizable franchises in sports after having 4 tremendously successful (overall) seasons with the best contract on the team...and possibly go to fucking Oakland, Buffalo, Tampa?

Davis could test WRs 40 times by having Big Ben attempt to rape them

The O line needs improvement, but I don't think we need to use the #2 pick on an O-linemen. There is no Jake Long type lineman in this draft. Suh and McCoy are dominant, top potential defensive players. Take one. The draft is kind of stacked at LB, and I'd imagine the second round pick will go defense again. After that you can get a o-lineman or RB

Yeah, nobody is gonna want a 28 year old qb who has won 2 Superbowls and is under contract for years, cause he has to sit out up to SIX WHOLE GAMES THIS YEAR.  I mean, it's a way better idea to use your first round pick on a prospect that might end up being the next Ryan Leaf.

IDIOT.

Big Ben for the number two pick.  :smug

Honestly, the teams that it makes sense for Ben to go to are Oakland, Buffalo, St. Louis and maybe one other one that I'm forgetting right now.

edit:  KC and/or Cleveland.  Forgot about them.  Everyone else in the top 10 has a young QB they're grooming or an established starter.  I guess you could argue that Seattle would be smart to turn the page from Hasselbeck (who has sucked for years now) but they probably won't just yet.

I'm going tomorrow, just got back home about 30 minutes ago from RCMH.

There arent a lot of people this year because of the weekday thing. If you want to go i'm sure youll be able to get in if you just show up.

I'm hoping we get Earl Thomas or Devin McCourty or Brandon Graham. If not, I can live with Oldrick. Hopefully there will be a run on tackles like the mocks have been showing so we get some quality players that fall to us.

By us I mean the Jets.

I'm freaking excited. The draft is my favorite event of the year.

The Lions traded Ernie Sims last week, for no apparent reason and with no apparent successor :derp. I still don't think they have cohesive strategy to put together a winning team

The local media thinks the Cowboys are going to try to move up and get Dez Bryant. I'm not sure if they can move up that far (or that he'll fall that far) but we'll see. I'd rather have Bryant than that POS Roy Williams. Send him back to the Lions.

The draft is very deed at LBs. Sims didn't pan out, and I like the trade that occurred. We could put up Keith Bulluck through free agency, draft one, or full the spot with one of our current LBs

Looking over the Lions depth chart. Levy is going to be good, but other than that I don't know who would fill Sims' shoes. Peterson is washed up and Dizon has had off the field problems. I just don't understand trading him for Scheffler (WMU grad  8)).

And the Jacksonville Jaguars are soon to be the LA Jaguars after that pick.  They better hope Tebow will be there in the second for them so they can put some butts in that stadium.

I like Weatherspoon pick by Falcons. Gives us 2 really good Linebackers to build around on defense. We've got the tools on offense, we just need to shore up that defense and we can make it 3 straight winning seasons. :)

Kind of concerned about the Best pick after some research. Dude has durability questions and got hurt multiple times at Cal. This would be less of a problem if our OL was better. I'd rather go defense with the third round pick though. It'll depend on who's available though.

I am upset that the seahags traded up to 14 to get Earl Thomas although I understand that they will need to have someone cover Vernon Davis.  >:(

So I guess the Redskins are content with their roster. Weird.

I wonder if they'll still try to Jamaal Brown. I got to think a LB and RB are going to be drafted in the later rounds. If they can't get another starter for the line in the draft, they need to sign Flozell or trade for Brown.

It's also hysterical to watch Redskins fans who sincerely thought that the team could get a second round draft pick for Jason Campbell, now realizing that they'll probably get a fifth or sixth rounder. :lol

Okung, Earl Thomas, and Golden Tate.  Yeah, I'll take that.  The Seahawks still have a lot of rebuilding to do but so far so good.

Now hopefully they'll suck so bad again that they'll have a chance at Jake Locker next year.
