I thought you were a developer? Didn't you work in the games industry? Congrats, BTW. College is fun times.
Yeah I still work in the games industry, but sadly, nowhere near a developer position. I mean, I got some designing credits for a few games with my company (one of which that was an absolutely TERRIBLE pet sim), but I did QA stuff like 97% of the time.
That's not too bad a school. If you do well there, you can easily get into a top graduate program anywhere in the country. Friends who've studied at both Cal Sate and UCs told me that the teaching was a lot more intimate at Cal State and it's generally a more nourishing environment. So yeah, I think you've found a good place to build a solid set of fundamentals.
Yeah, CSUN is actually a pretty fine school, and they got some really nice facilities. It's just a little depressing since me and my friends would make fun of people who went to CSUN due to its ridiculously high acceptance rate.
But yeah, I'm gonna go there for my B.A., and hopefully do graduate work at UCLA.
