Just heard from one of the few survivors still at my old retail haunt that the entire company is going to be liquidating soon. That could mean sick deals for anyone that still has a GameCrazy near them.

I raped the corpse of the last GC that went out of business. I think I spent about $80 and basically filled my trunk with games. Fuck, I'm not going to play 90% of that shit either

yeah my store nearby closed and theres another like 40 miles away

i have like 33$ in credit and they sent me a gift card that can only be used at their stores, not hollywood video retail stores (some which also have games)

Yeah, my buddy just texted me asking what I want from the sale.

Funny story from the other side: my friend who is a DM at GameStop said that about a year ago, the store manager from the nearby GameCrazy walked into one of his flagship stores and yelled at the staff that he was going to put them out of business.

12 months later: Same guy shows up at the GameStop store on Tuesday to pick up SSIV... paid for by his mother.
