« on: May 06, 2010, 10:05:58 PM »
- Bionic Commando like grapplehook
- Decent platforming
- Fun hook of having three characters to fuck with and level up to get new abilities to solve new puzzles
- Levels chock full of secrets and things to find
- Fun dialogue/story
- Mix between Bionic Commando and Castlevania

Fun fun fun

What happened to the XBLA version, anyway?

I have Trine on PSN but would prefer to play it on PC...the PC version looks like it runs at double the frame rate and is just much smoother.

yeah, Trine is great.

I need to get around to finishing it with each character alone.  I think it is possible.

I must have stepped into Bizzaroworld or something, cause Trine isn't on XBLA in the real world.

This reminds me... I need to buy this game.

Have you tried out Castle Crashers Himu? It's on PSN now.

Yeah, but it's not a whole lot like Trine. Go play The Lost Vikings instead

I love the arrow mechanics in the game. Simple yet you could hit so many trajectories.

If you have any friends and you play through this game with them you'll have a blast. If you're a fan of games like Golden Axe and Streets of Rage you'll have a blast.

Seriously good game. Especially with friends.

Also the PSN version has some new modes  :D

I'm about 5 stages in now and for the most part I'm loving it.  I love the colors/music/voices.  Using the abilities is fun.  Finding all the hidden experience potions is fun.

But am I the only one finding the physics to be all over the place and glitchy?  Mainly having to do with the girl's grappling and some of the wizard object moving.  I feel like it's random where I go when I swing half the time and thankfully since the checkpoint system rocks it's not horribly annoying to mess up all the time and die or get stuck, but it's still not as smooth of experience as I would like it to be.  I dunno, the physics/controls just seem like they could use more polish.

I started off playing kb+m but I found it easier to play with a X360 controller.  What are you guys using to control it?
