As for my own posting, I've got a kind of perfect-storm combination of things going on that's keeping my interest in gaming pretty low.  Photography takes up a lot of my time, and the sense of pursuit and satisfaction is similar to what I got out of going after obscure Japanese games. Plus, I've got this overwhelming feeling that the console industry isn't really lining up with my interests in gaming (small, obscure, high-concept) so much anymore, and there's so much twitter/blog/forum noise about the quirky stuff that IS out there that I don't feel compelled to explore it or talk about it. And maybe I'm just lazy about going after the stuff that's really obscure now.

For now, I'm pretty content to play the occasional Musou or Pixeljunk release.

Also, yeah, this isn't EB-related, but GAF is so huge now that whenever I enter a thread, whatever I was going to say has most likely already been said.

Not really relevant for EB, but one prolific poster on GAF who seems to have disappeared has been DarienA.  I can't remember the last time I saw him post.
