There are 12 achievements with a total of 200 points.

    Just Getting Started (10 points)
Complete any level in Single player

    Rip and Tear (20 points)
Complete any level on 'Nightmare' in Single player

    Superior Firepower (25 points)
Complete all levels on 'Ultra-Violence' or higher in Single player

    An Important Looking Door (10 points)
Find a secret area of a level in Single player

    From Earth To Hell (25 points)
Complete all levels in 'DOOM II: Hell on Earth' in Single player

    And Back Again (25 points)
Complete all levels in 'DOOM II: No Rest for the Living' in Single player

    Burning Out of Control (15 points)
Complete any level with 100% kills, items, and secrets in Single player

    Destroyer (20 points)
Get 100 frags in Deathmatch on Xbox LIVE

    The Great Communicator (10 points)
Get 20 kills using the Chainsaw in a single level in Single player

    A Man and a Half (10 points)
Get 20 kills using the Berserk Powerup in a single level in Single player

    You Have Huge Guts (20 points)
Kill a CyberDemon using your fists in Single player

    A Really Big Gun (10 points)
Find a BFG in Single player

Im sure the deathmatch will be bearable, racking up 100 kills shouldnt take too long.

Yeah Doom is about that long, this will be a similar length. Of course, beating all levels on Ultra-Violence takes more time and is quite challenging.

Doom 2 is still better than 90% of modern FPS games. It's meant to be replayed and mastered.

Im gonna get it as soon as it comes out, so the 100 deathmatch kills arent a pain in the ass to get! I imagine there'll be full lobbys for a couple of weeks at least so 100 kills can be racked up in no time.

I was late to the party with Doom 1 xbla so had to boost the online ones.

Deathmatches should be better in this one since Doom2 actually has a couple of really good DM levels! The original Doom sucked for DM.

it would have to be beserk powerup + invincibilty orb. Most cyberdemons have invinciblities near them, and most stages will have a beserk too. I'd imgaine you BFG him a couple of times, then go in for the kill

Im still only up to Level 11 in the original game though, its real tough going on Ultra-violence. Much harder then Doom 1 cos they added nasty enemies such as Mancubus, Pain Elemental (worst enemy in the game, creates flaming skulls), and the Archvile.

If anyone has this and wants to boost deathmatch kills Im your man. No-one playing this online really, I managed to score 50 kills so far but its still a pain finding a game.

It just has to be the finishing blows with the fists. Basically I found a Cyberdemon in a level where I had already found a beserk pack earlier. I BFG'ed him a few times, grabbed the invincibility orb (most Cyberdemons have one nearby) then ran in for the punching kill. Not too hard!

In Doom1 XBLA, I got up to a part in the third chapter where I had to jump across an L-shaped gap of lava in order to get to a yellow key door or something. I could never get the fucking Doomguy to cross that channel. I think I remember a guide saying to just run diagonally or something, but I couldn't get it to go.

Anyone remember that part? Any advice? I'd like to bang out the rest of that game before getting this one.

The level was called Refueling Station, level 9 or 10 I think. There was a cyberdemon right at the end. I was playing on Ultra-Violence, he might not be there on lower difficulties

It's really easy to get the cyberdemon achievement in level 32.

I'm down for some deathmatch farming, although the lag might be a problem!

Nah you can boost it with just 2. Im up to farm this cheevo with anyone, I already have 50 or so kills.
