The idea is that the winner shouldn't be allowed any additional advantages. We don't need to have this rule since we're just playing for fun, anyway -- I just wanted to point out ahead of time that that's USUALLY how it works in case it becomes a point of contention later on.

Oh, I just realized my original post might not be clear: it only applies to the set (as in, the 3 of 5). You can begin a set with whomever you like, but if you win, you gotta stick with them until the set is over or until you lose a match, whichever comes first.

It's a good rule and that should stay. What I'm not doing is changing up the amount of matches that needs to be won by the winner's champ/loser's champ in the final match, just like the SF4 tourney from last year. Same number of matches for everybody.

All right, the match with me and The Fake Shemp is over. The results:

Match 2: Good Day Sir (Honda) 3 - 0 The Fake Shemp (Hawk)
Match 3: Good Day Sir (Honda) 3 - 0 The Fake Shemp (Cody)

Willco said he was bad with charge characters, but I think he would do really well with Honda or maybe Balrog with the way he plays. Maybe Dudley or Cammy too, come to think of it. He was pretty spot-on with his condor dives, so I think anyone with a body-charging move would work well for him.

Enk vs Delusion

There was a bit of a mixup where Delusion had set the matches to 2 out of 3 instead of 3 out of 5. Delusion won that round but I don't know if it would've counted. There was also a couple of instances where the game froze. After it unfroze I lost control of my character and lost a third of health because of it. Didn't matter anyways since I won both of those rounds. Anyways here's the results:

Match 1: Adon(Enk) vs Guile(Delusion): 3-2

Match 2: Adon(Enk) vs Guile(Delusion): 3-0

Match 3: Adon(Enk) vs Guile(Delusion): 3-0

Winner: Enk

I beat him guile v Cody, but then he switched to ( what I guess is his main) Rufus and destroyed me. I haven't really played many good rufuses. It was a little closer in the last, but he won pretty handily.

So I won my set with Jae Thrillz, 3-1. I used Guile and Jae used Adon first, and I won that match. He then switched to Bison, and he ended up fairing better but I won that match, 3-2. He then switched to Guy and gave me a nice beating, winning that match. I then won the next match and set playing his Guy. His Guy is definitely pesky.

Lyte, I told him about the thread and the Web site, so he'd be up to speed.

Good games Icono! Balrog, Zangief and T Hawk are my weakness when it comes to Adon. He doesn't deal with grapplers and Balrog's pressure well at all. I don't know what the hell happened with my Gouken. There was one instance where I could've had the round but my Super decided not to come out!

That Bison/Balrog match ended up pretty tense!

Well, actually I was thinking maybe I should sit this out (like RoboJ) instead of getting an extra turn in losers, where it's more unfair compared to the winners brackets. Why don't you fight Iconoclast instead and I will fight the winner of that match. Then Jae Thrillz will fight the loser of that match.
