i'm well passed that now. now i have to fight snipers in at a mine.

question: is ad-hoc party the only way to play with friends online?

Finished the game a couple of hours ago, the last fight was awesome but the ending was so fucking cheesy :lol, now I'm gonna unlock the extra chapter and the monster hunter stuff.

solid game all the way through. Easily the best PSP game.  though replaying the first two chapters of MGS4 really took away Peace Walker's initial shine...console MGS (like actual stealth gameplay, when it isn't cutscenes or railshooting BS) is just too good.

the next non-raiden side story console MGS needs to use an expanded "base" system somehow.  Fultoning the solidiermon is just too addicting!

There's a new CFW patch that adds in Prometheus to GEN, making it so that you no longer need to patch games (again) and also don't need any weird fixes or apps/downgrades to play Peace Walker.  :)

I feel like I have to be really patient to have fun with Peace Walker.  What I liked about previous MGS games is that you can just Rambo your way through.  I've been fighting the first tank battle the last few days and it's been frustrating.  First couple of times, I tried taking the tank down by force but my current weapons just aren't powerful enough.  Then, I tried the stealthy method but could never get the commander to come out.

What does it take for him to pop the top?  Tips, Bebpo?

Some of the later Ex.Op missions, (5 Red-Skull ones especially) are pretty annoying solo. Still an awesome game though.

Smooth Groove: To make the commander come out you can either 1) capture/kill all of the troops without being seen or damaging the tank or 2) do a certain amount of damage to the tank after killing all the soldiers.

You have 2 methods to get him out The stealthy way and the rambo way.

Stealth way: Take out all the guards without being spotted by other guards or the tank it self.(I highly recommended knocking them out and using the fulton on them for your base). He will send out more so repeat, after your done with the final one he will come out and you can either kill him or tranq him to end mission.

Rambo Way: Get rid of all guards and also damage the vehicle with your strongest weapons (a rocket launcher is nice), he will come out after enough damage is done. Either kill or Tranq to end mission

The next console MGS needs a turn to in door locations. I'm tired of this outdoor shit.

The best level in MGS PW was the in-door level during act 3. 8)
