those korean free mmorpg
« on: June 04, 2010, 08:07:45 PM »
ok as i was curious about world of warcraft a while ago,i am curious about these too even tough they have an even worse reputation than world of warcraft, specialy since there are like a gazillion of them,it always buggered me... like... how can there be so much of these?

truth is after playing monster hunter i realized that playing rpg all together can be tons of fun as long as it's not too grindy (tough still a little grindy) doesn't involve a huge amount of people and doesn't involve missions that take more than 30 minutes

so discuss! tell me how horrible these are if you ever had the guts of trying one

I played that Gunz: The duel game for a spell. Seemed kinda fun, but I didn't really get that into it and the other people I played with were all much further in the game than me so I was at a severe disadvantage in gear and not knowing how the fuck anything worked.

A persistent world FPS seems like it could be either really cool, or really, really lame. I mean, even with supremely considered weapon and gameplay balancing, Quake Live is apparently some kind of butcher-house where the best players consistently turn n00bz into a fine red mist. There are ways to deal with that, but all of them have disadvantages.
