re: Wii HiFi being on the level of the 360 - if the grumblings about either Sony wanting a "10 year plan" or MS wanting a second life through Natal, or the talk of the next true successors being PS3/360 x1.5 with something integrated out of the box like the Wii are true - it might only sound distinguished mentally-challenged to aim for the level of their competitors 4 year old tech. All three might converge on a "next-gen" about where we are now.

half this thing is them calibrating it before each game

ping pong looks cool, but everything else on the dull sports thing looked baaaaad.

also, the games give you options to play with one or two controllers? that's just weird. the guy playing archery with a single controller was destroying his score when using two. using one, it's just aiming. using two, you have to pretend to pull back the arrow and shit like that

No. Far from it. Its mostly just gullible Sony fans getting their hopes up from what I can tell.

And considering the threat the iphone/ipad pose, I doubt corporate Sony would let the gaming devision make a dedicated video game portable again. And if its not a dedicated game machine than Sony would probably save it for CES.

I like motion controls if they're done well $:-\$

It's hard for people to be hopeful when for the past 4 years it has been a lot of nothing on the Wii and everything seen of Natal and Move has been bad.
