Yeah.  It's just them trying to hype up the brand for the casual gamers and throw out bullet points.

the good shit from e3 is always the shit from the floor.

Except they showed off gameplay footage from Call of Duty: Black Ops and Halo: Reach, which will be the two highest-selling games - bar none! - this holiday season. Gears of War 3 will also sell truckloads.

I think, hmm, I think MS is losing focus.

They had a pretty good focus with OG Xbox and event better, amazing focus with Xbox 360.

Now it's hmm... slim here, Kinetic there... not rigid enough.

I think Sony is losing the focus too but we shall see tomorrow. They lost it with PSPGo when it comes to handhelds.

Xbox Slim feels like PSPGo in some ways. Unnecessary product.

No price is fail. They announced a street date so why not a price?

Because Sony hasn't announced a price.

They're both going to be 'bad' conferences. Why the fuck do you people think they announced ALL THE BIG PS3 TITLES BEFORE E3.

Excellent point on price. See who moves first to not give advantage. Didn't think of that.

They announced them so they could focus on move, and a few other things. I suspect that much like the MS conference it isn't going to be "hardcore centric".

The thing I'm kinda surprised about with KINECT is that even though it isn't for us, there isn't even a game among that group that really pretends to be. I honestly though there would be some Milo type adventure game that would at least be interesting for somebody like me. But its all party games, mini-games, or gimmicky type stuff. Like I said the product isn't for me, but I'm still a little disappointed for some reason that there isn't even a game to tempt me.

They didn't even show off Natal functionality in Fable 3 which they've hinted at. And which one of these is the Rare games?

One word to describe Microsofts press conference:

Desperate.

I'm really starting to understand why Bach left, at first I thought it was related to the Courier, but now...

...Now I understand.

Totally dude. They all are jumping ship. MS is gonna go out of business.

No (yes, your sarcasm was noted) but I think what Microsoft are doing to (note how I didnt use with...) the Xbox division is very alarming.

It probably saves them money because it allows them to use new chips and whatnot.  and it's a form of rebranding for the 5 year old xbox 360.  it's not unnecessary.  people like slim consoles.  that's been proven already.

and losing focus?  sony and MS are in the position that they're in because their focus was too narrow.  Nintendo saw the potential and jumped on it.  PS3 and 360 are just playing catch up on it.

that's not what i meant.  those are the casual brand names that 360 carries.  of course they would show it off.  i'm talking about the nerd out hardcore shit that always pops up on the e3 floor.  that's what i mean about the good shit.

I've come to the conclusion that some of use are simply more intelligent than many of the fucktards all over the place.

This conference focused on Major games releases for this year, in fact, the biggest game releases of the year (HD) were shown. Call of Duty, Gears of War 3, Halo Reach.

What did you guys want? A game announced out of nowhere for this holiday? Games for next year? Why the fuck do you need to know what's going to release next year, right now?

What I'm reading now is that if you want to use Natal on old Xbox 360s, it requires a power supply (in addition to the 360 power brick).  The new 360 doesn't require an additional power supply for Natal.

That was a stupidly disappointing conference.  A few great games we already knew about followed by a gimmick.  :\

I hate the fact that Nintendo's success has resulted in MS and Sony wasting time on this motion control bullshit.

Shouldn't we judge the conference on what we liked about it? Sales-age is one thing, but we're gamers first, are we not? Kinect is lost on most of us and, in spite of your strong case of denial, it did look quite laggy. Gears and Halo looked just as expected. Call of Duty is multiplat, as is Call of Duty. Fable was only a trailer, though a date was given. It was pretty underwhelming besides the reveal of the new Xbox hardware, which is what has me excited.

All Nintendo needs is 3ds and zelda 8)

I played twilight princess for the first time today. Its pretty terrible. So I'm not enthusiastic about what theyre going to show tomorrow.

The intro to TP is horrible and it takes about 2 hours to get into an actual dungeon. Give it some time. It's a great game but it has pacing issues, unlike other Zelda's.

i can play twilight princess but i seriously can't play wind waker
you have all that shit on the island
THEN tetra comes and try to bore you to death
THEN you have to jump on those rope for no other reason other than a desperate attempt to pad the game
THEN THERE IS A FUCKING STEALTH SECTION

you can't do worse than that

:piss 3ds :piss2

please announce a successor to the psp sony and once again get us out of the handheld gaming ghetto.

zelda i'm cautiously optimistic for but i have a feeling it'll be dumbed down beyond belief and with too much waggle crap added on :/

But that takes like 30 minutes to an hour. TP's intro, however...blah.

3d Zelda intros are usually blah. This is a known fact.
