I just want to (permanently) lose my burden of intelligence, and there are few ways to do that effectively / quickly. I've seen some legitimate research papers on the subject...

All I am interested in seeing now is what Sony does with the PSP brand.
I'm just interested in this Premium PSN service.

But seriously, I'm curious to see how Sony handles it. I'd love for them to up XBL significantly. Competition only makes things better for us.

Neither of these things are going to take off.Like I said: IF it works well with hardcore games, then Microsoft can kiss that market goodbye.Kinect is the only one out of the 3 that seems absolutely destined for failure. It's not just the fact that the tech is much less impressive than initially thought, but the pricing strategy, the marketing strategy, all this shit seems like it's headed down the wrong hole.I hope I'm proven wrong, because if Kinect fails, hooboy.Kinect WILL fail but I think MS will be fine in part to the system redesign and the fact that it's still selling pretty damn well. Kinect and Move will both be colossal blunders. But how far can a system redesign take them?It takes a lot more than just redesigning your product to make it a long-term success. If the same creepy Baby ads were still airing, and if the Ps3 was still out of the price range of the average gamer, would the Ps3 Slim be relevant?

If the same creepy Baby ads were still airing, and if the Ps3 was still out of the price range of the average gamer, would the Ps3 Slim be relevant?Well the redesign helps them in that they can (theoretically) manufacture it at a lower cost and possibly lower the retail price as well.....again theoretically. MS doesn't seem to be too quick to be doing this, which I think is a mistake on their part, but in the future they may be able to do a substantial price drop to bolster their sales. Right now the 360 is selling just as well at the same price as the PS3 which is more feature packed. There's just no incentive for them to do anything at the moment. The redesign positions MS to extend the life of the console.
what can the PSP2 do? have better graphics? that didn't help the first PSP. 3DS has 3D, slightly better than PSP graphics, and NINTENDO.apple and nintendo dp sony in the handheld market
