Decent conference, I suppose.  Much better than Microsoft, but still not what it could have been.  I'm glad they didn't go too crazy with Move.  Not into the 3D stuff as I won't replace my TV with a 3D TV until someone can best it with superior contrast ratio and motion handling.  Hoping that the ex-Pioneer guys that are now with Panasonic can deliver something next year.

Twisted Metal did look like fun, though.

When Twisted Metal was revealed a van with psycho clowns DROVE on the stage.

It was awesome! Like old E3 not the new sales talking crap.

But it's like being surprised with a box of poop.   Most people haven't given a shit about Twisted Metal for a long time.  Even Sfags don't clamor for Twisted Metal.

Overall for all 3 conferences:

Microsoft: F+, worst videogame conference I've witnessed. Unless Kinect launches at less than $100, they are literally going to crash their entire market.

Nintendo: A+, best videogame conference I've  witnessed. Nothing can stop the 3DS.

Sony: C, middling. First half was boring as fuck, second half ramped it up.

I don't think Move is that expensive if I'm understanding this right.

The controller alone is $50
Sub controller is $30, but it isn't required and you can use the dual shock 3 in one hand
Games are $40
Bundle is the move controller plus the camera plus a game.  That's the camera for $10.

the killer is that some games require two moves, and I'm not even talking about multiplayer.

From a nerd fanboy "who won" perspective I honestly don't care. That's for system warriors like Triple A It's not like any of this matters in the long run. Nintendo often "wins" E3 yet I never buy or desire anything on their systems. So it's all moot. I like the 3DS and think its neat but I honestly doubt I will buy it or any handheld system. I'm simply out of that stage of gaming and I don't ride a bus or a train to work.  

From a personal perspective I thought MS had a poor conference. But honestly in the long run it will come down to the games and what people buy and what people want. "Winning" E3 is meaningless. But if were to subjectively call it, I don't think MS had a very good conference this year.

I think they definitely should have shown the Minority Report stuff from Move, because as it stands, we need more convincing.
