Sony E3 Conference livestream thread

Surprisingly, Nintendo's conference, with the 3DS, was the most No Bullshit out of any of them. Sony's was mostly boring, but at least they showed their tech being used with real Wii games. The game I wanted to see most - Trico - was MIA. MS's was just embarassing.

Of the actual Sony stuff shown, there wasn't much.  Twisted Metal looks fun, Infamous 2 trailer didn't show much, no Last Guardian, LBP2 was more "look at all dat genre".

Not every console owner has a PC capable of running that stuff. It's ridiculous to use that as a excuse why "this conferenced suxxeeddd" without coming off like a fan boy.

Nintendo should kill off the Wii. Besides  Zelda and Kibry, nothing new has been announced for the dust magnet.

- Undewhelming. I expected more games. Move wasn't a total disaster. maybe because Sony didn't spent much time on it. And finally, GT5 gets a date.

If your xbox 360 dies and you need a repair, you can no longer play your content without being online.

I know you can't play Indie games without being online (that's a real pisser), but if you're using the HD that you've bought the games with, you really should be able to connect offline. If you were to bring your HD to a friends house and you couldn't get online, THEN you'd be stuck (because the content doesn't match the system).

Yeah, wii is crazy fun with people around but can get really boring alone. Thankfully both Sony and Microsoft provide the best of both worlds.  In fact, I hope a lot of the Kinect games support Xbox Live. That could be pretty cool.

Yeah, I think I will go back to the playstation. I don't enjoy a lot of what the xbox has to offer outside USA. Halo, gears and fable? I don't play any of them. No netflix or espn, don't use zune, twitter and facebook are useless. Gran Turismo, God of War, Metal Gear Solid, Uncharted, Heavy Rain are games that I enjoy.
