The 3DS is the only thing that impressed me. I think a lot of that had to do with the fact that I was expecting it to be like the DS and the Wii, meaning half assed hardware. Nintendo seems to actually give a fuck about the 3DS design but I imagine that is because they don't need to be so conservative, given their iron grip in the gaming marketplace that is unlikely to be changed anytime soon.
The 360 outside of Kinect seems to be a spent force. Maybe MS just wanted to make sure Kinect was the star of the show but other than that, it was unimpressive. Maybe Microsoft is shifting internal priorities to the new Xbox, which I'm sure we'll hear about in the next few months. Which is fine with me as there are a couple dozen titles I still would like to play on the 360 still. Not to mention revisit a few titles. So I'm not complaining much. I still think it is the most disappointing platform of the show.
