still got issues like why the proxy settings points to IE8 instead of built in proxy manager or why it isn't installed in program files among other things.

flipflop time, adblock makes it very slow.

back to IE8 with simple adblock.

A lot of times when I open a page with lots of pictures in it, like half the pictures don't load.  Doesn't happen with firefox though.

If I lived in Mountain View, yes. I made it very clear that this problem was unique to this browser.  My guess is that it''s some way of keeping the RAM usage as low as possible.
