It's just a weird multitude of things. The Pistons are reaching in a lot and that's causing some of the Kings turnovers. So, it's like, okay you're gonna let it be a physical game. Then the Pistons get a little bump or touch foul on the other end and it's an instant whistle. There's phantom loose ball fouls on rebounds involving everyday boxing out. Calling moving screens on common hand-off plays, the kind that didn't get whistled in the previous TWolves game.
And then there's Cousins taking a lot of contact with no calls. On one play, Drummond or Monroe was basically arm-barring him to keep him from getting the pass. Leads to a turn over. On the other end, he jumps a pass, gets hand and ball, gets called for a foul. It's like the crew is trying to bait the Kings, namely DMC. Even the ESPN crew is acknowledging it, and ESPN is normally scared shit of bringing the refs up.
