While the Cavs certainly have fallen on tough times, losing six in a row and nine out of 10 to fall to 19-20 and sixth in the Eastern Conference entering Thursday night, Blatt said he's been through the start of a season like this before and was able to turn it around for his team.

"We had a tough first half of the year last year in Maccabi," Blatt said. "Really tough. And it looked rough. We came back, we won the European championship, we won the Israeli championship, we won the Israeli Cup. One of the great, historic years in the history of European basketball. So, yeah, I've been in that situation before and the ending was pretty good."

 :heh

I'll watch the Lakers Cavs game tonight if only to kind of secretly hope the Lakers win tonight.

Looks like Cavs got this one. Kobe was having a very good game. Had like 15 assists by the 3rd quarter. But once he went to the bench in the 4th the Lakers couldn't generate any offense and it got away from them.

Since I've been shitting all over the Cavs recently, tonight is a night to give them some props. They played really well tonight and fairly gutsy. It was a back to back. Against a good team. Kevin Love was out. And they were down a decent amount in the third but used an explosive 4th quarter to come back tonight.

That being said Lebron is ridiculous with the turnovers this season. 9 tonight.

He is handling the ball way too much for this offense. Sometimes you can blame him for some of the careless turnovers but it just feels like the offense is so Lebron-centric (i.e. predicatable) a lot of these turnovers are gonna happen which is the bigger problem.

Well, we'll see what the Cav's are worth today at Chicago. We really need to take this one.

In other news, Shump is practicing fully so we can put Smith on the bench soon. I think he'll be fine running the second team with the vets along side him (Miller and Marion)

Kinda been lost because he and Westbrook have been hurt but Durant is putting up a stupidly good season.

Shooting 54%. 40% from three's. 4 assists. 7 rebounds.

And Westbrook himself isn't having a slouch of a season either with a per of 28.64.

They will have to battle for that 7th and 8th slot with Brooklyn, Charlotte, and Detroit.

Injuries have derailed any meager momentum we muster. The terrible point guard play doesn't help either.

I feel bad for the Houston organization. They try like hell, but they always seem to fail. It doesn't help that they are stuck in the West.

Cavs look pretty decent all of a sudden. Mozgov has been playing really well since joining the team. So has JR smith although I think that's fool's gold. Iman Shumpert got to play for the first time tonight also.

they beat the Clippers in Staples and a reeling Bulls team by 14

they're beating teams while scoring a lot of points, which is exactly what they were pegged to do before the season started; Kevin Love's disappearing act notwithstanding
