Might as well pimp this here, I moved my little stats project over to Wordpress: https://benjistats.wordpress.com/

Adding season profiles semi-regularly. I'll use the "blog" more for "articles" or writeups of some kind. Going to start explaining some of the stats/awards/etc. in more detail very soon I just wanted to get a bunch of the season profiles up so I can reference them. Have a bunch of other silly ideas for things. Will do Lists like every blog, Top Ten Best Seasons of Tom Boerwinkle, that kind of thing.

Yay, basketball.

Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin both getting sat so they don't injure themselves before a trade/buyout.

ESPN wants them both on the Nets. :lol

Boogie Cousins waived by the Rockets, lots of Laker fans on Twitter seem to want him.

It's apparently mutual, the Rockets guaranteed his contract before they waived him. He doesn't want to only be a backup and they only want to play Christian Wood (when healthy) at center.

Not quite:

The Oklahoma City Thunder have completed a trade sending forward Trevor Ariza to the Miami Heat for forward Meyers Leonard and a 2027 second-round pick, the team announced Wednesday.

The deal also generated a trade exception for the Thunder.

Leonard will not be an active part of the Thunder moving forward and will not report to Oklahoma City

I'll hate to see these Bucks lose, they do so many things so well, but they've got Giannis locked up so they can make another run or three, you'd think Paul isn't likely to get a better shot and the whole run starting in the bubble to this has been nuts.

It's crazy to watch Giannis get the ball just be outside and everyone backs up ten feet. Threes are like his Wilt/Shaq FT's.

also lol at saying that about a guy who has averaged 32/14/6 per 36 the last three years, if he could get to Antoine Walker levels on his triples he'd be unstoppable.

Giannis first guy other than Shaq to have back to back 40+/10+/4+ games in the Finals.

As a lifelong Bucks fan it was great to see Giannis get 50 to end the 50 year title drought.

Bobby Portis big scoring game sighting!

Suns offense stagnated too much and they fell back on setting up one-on-ones often I thought.

This trade reminds me of a classic scene from the sitcom "Arrested Development" that has since become a meme: Psychiatrist Tobias Funke notes to his wife, Lindsay, that an open marriage has never worked for anyone he has counseled ... "but it might work for us."
