Alot of the PSP sales were MGS: Peace Walker bundles, so it didn't totally bomb.

Not paying attention to gaming for a month really shows just how sad sfags, xbots, and nintenfags really are when it comes to sales numbers. Hint: no one gives a flying fuck about any of this shit outside of la-la land.

Isnt it funny how youre spinning PSP sales, then going on to say how sad sfags and their sales numbers are?

Seems like youre above all this stuff now, anyhow, after not paying attention to gaming for a month. I think its time for you to hang up your Playstation control

It sold fairly well especially for the time of year it came out. But obviously in comparison to things like Halo and Gears it seems like not much.

isn't there a new Halo game coming out?

yeah, I don't think there is going to be a problem with 360 exclusives getting into the top 10 of the year.

spoiler (click to show/hide)
actually, I can't remember what else there is this year other than Halo Reach and Natal stuff.  Is Fable 3 2010?

Fable 3 is this year.

I don't think Microsoft really needs exclusives to drive sales; the online platform and third-party support has driven its economy.

That was kind of what I thought, it's probably close to 2.5 million worldwide by now.

Most of us don't give a shit about sales in any real sense or in the same sense as GAF. Not only that but its generally confined to this once a month npd thread.

For instance, it's common knowledge that Mass Effect 2 is leagues better than God of War III even thought God of War III has sold more. That's just the nature of the industry.

Agreed.  I only care about poking fun at the obviously demand constrained PS3.  Some Sfags still hold out hope that there will be some kind of upward shift in momentum, even after about four years into the system's life.

No, it's not common knowledge that ME2 is 'leagues better' than GOWIII. In fact now that I think about it, ,ME2 only beats GOWIII in storytelling.

It deserved to sell more, but that's EA's own fault for a) not releasing it during the holiday period and b) only sticking to 2 HD platforms instead of 3.

lol, stop pretending you don't own a Wii.

AW is a repetitive 3rd person shooter with a terrible story-line (think Twin Peaks but without the character charm) and linear gameplay.

Name me 1 Wii game in 2010 that was hyped to the heavens and failed to deliver on the hype. Just 1.

Point is there was very little worth hyping on the Wii - AW might well be average but it knocked everything released on the Wii this year into a cocked hat.* It has had just one big fat year of disappointment again.
